Poem

Overheated

Smoke is rising up from my heart.

It is now overheated.

It is a good start.

Now I get to leave it alone.

Standing on the start line.

Now I finally see things around me.

Up hill, down hill.

Left and right.

I don’t know where I will be,

but I know I won’t be here any longer.

I have to drive through things I never faced before,

I am not scared, rather excited.

Can’t stop me now.

Time is running out.

Putting some gas to myself.

It should run me for awhile.

I am good to go.

I am better off to somewhere else.

Waste of a beautiful soul

Life without meaning is a waste of a beautiful soul. Remember to inspire others with your love and struggle.

Poem

Flammable

I am flammable.

Your one world can make me go on fire.

The feelings I have now is very flammable.

It can light me up anytime soon.

My heart is flammable,

and there is string attached to it.

You have the fire,

so just let me heart explode.

With the explosion,

I will send my fireworks.

I will send them to your world.

I will send them to your eyes.

So whenever you are ready.

Just light me up.

I am just so flammable with you.

Poem Quotes

Quotes from “Catcher in the rye”

“Among other things, you’ll find that you’re not the first person who was ever confused and frightened and even sickened by human behaviour. You’re by no means alone on that score, you’ll be excited and stimulated to know. Many, many men have been just as troubled morally and spiritually as you are right now. Happily, some of them kept records of their troubles. You’ll learn from them—if you want to. Just as someday, if you have something to offer, someone will learn something from you. It’s a beautiful reciprocal arrangement. And it isn’t education. It’s history. It’s poetry.”
― J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye
